In an interview with Vanity Fair published Friday, Broad City kween Abbi Jacobson revealed a nugget about her personal life that she’s never discussed publicly before.

While promoting her new movie 6 Balloons, out this weekend on Netflix, a reporter asked the 34-year old actress and writer how she makes time for a love life these days, given her busy schedule. Jacobson admitted that she was open to meeting something, then added, “I kind of go both ways; I date men and women,” she said. “I don’t knowI’ve never really been interviewed about this before.”

So there you have it. Back in 2016, there was speculation about Jacobson’s sexuality due to her relationship with Carrie Brownstein (Portlandia, Sleater-Kinney), which was never publicly confirmed. But on Broad City, it was Ilana Glazer whose character dipped her toes into bisexuality.

Jacobson has been quite the busy bee lately, from working on a new season of Broad City to producing and starring in exciting future projectssome of which have a high potential for queer content. 6 Balloons was written and directed by Marja-Lewis Ryan, the showrunner of the upcoming L Word reboot.

Plus, the Broad City star recently confirmed that she’ll be producing a TV version of A League of Their Owna movie that wasn’t canonically queer, but full of subtext and starring at least two out actresses (Rosie O’Donnell and Megan Cavanagh). Hopefully the updated version will feature a lesbian storyline A girl can dream!
