Regardless of what Buzzfeed thinks, Armie Hammer is definitely happening right now. He’s been turning heads with his performance in the gay film of the year, Call Me By Your Name. But his next role is probably a bit more on point.
The Social Network star makes his Broadway debut alongside Tom Skerritt in this summer’s Straight White Men. Written by Young Jean Lee, the play is about a man and his three adult sons coming together for Christmas, in which they confront their issues of identity and privilege. Skerritt will star as the father with Hammer as one of the sons.
Straight White Men begins previews June 29 at Hayes Theatre, with a July 29 opening.
