Recently, the iconic Cowboy Carter singer/songwriter used her maiden name on the Forbes list celebrating the 100 most powerful women of 2024. She previously included Jay-Z’s last name, Carter, as a joint Knowles-Carter.
Fans now think that she’s changing her last name to put some distance between herself and her husband.
However, a Forbes story from September shows them using “Knowles-Carter.” It’s currently unknown whether this decision was made by Forbes staff or by Bey herself.
