Chris Pine’s new look is scandalously zaddylicious

Kyle MacLachlan may have the Internet obsessed with his adorable antics, but let’s be honest: Chris Pine may have just won the zaddy crown.

The Wish actor and author of a forthcoming children’s book has been toolin’ around LA of late, looking dressed for success—if your idea of success involves short shorts, a shaggy salt-and-pepper grow out, and a tanktop from Bob’s Big Boy. So perhaps dressed for West Hollywood success is more apt. Basically he’s rocking the LA zaddy uniform, and we have zero complaints.

It’s giving Surfin’ USA. It’s giving Venice Beach dad. It’s giving Matthew McConaughey in The Beach Bum. Pine is really going there: he’s letting that lion’s mane grow and getting back to the (very hot) disheleved look he sported in A Wrinkle in Time. It was a great look then, and it’s even better now.

It was giving nonbinary chic, with a slight dash of zaddy.

Has a man ever looked happier? Impossible.

Commenters on the original post had the same thoughts.

“Why are you walking around MacArthur Park like that !? 😂” one commenter asked. Another pleaded for Pine to “give Pedro Pascal the same shorts, please.”

Another commented simply asked: “where’s his pants?”
