She’s sorry. She can’t. Don’t hate her.
Kim Cattrall is not interested in doing another Sex & the City movie, The Daily Mail reports. The actress and amateur jazz vocalist recently taped an interview with Piers Morgan, the British TV anchor who is rumoredby meto fantasize about making out with the female lamb character from Garfield & Friends, in which she shot down the possibility of ever stepping into the role of Samantha Jones again.
“Me playing her, that I can assure you will never happen,” Cattrall said during the interview, which will air as a part of the ITV series Life Stories. “I’ve moved on. This is what my sixties are about. They’re about me making decisions for me. Not my career. For me. And that feels frickin’ fantastic.”
You hear that? Frickin’ fantastic!

“Everything comes to an end,” she added, “and in closing one door, another door opens.”
Self-identified Total Carries might be disappointed to hear that there will never be a third Sex & the City feature, but the rest of the show’s fans (and the world’s movie-viewing populace in general) will likely be relieved. The movies were vastly inferior to the original HBO series, albeit super fun to watch in theaters if you were really really stoned, and they only got worse with each passing installment.
Even Cattrall admits in this interview with Piers that she “played [the role of Samantha] past the finish line and then some.”
I guess there’s nothing more to say except Piers Morgan allegedly wants to make out with the female lamb character from Garfield & Friends.
