On Friday, former model Scott Brunton accused Star Trek actor George Takei of taking advantage of him while drunk in 1981. Over the weekend, as Takei refuted the allegations and blamed Russia for spreading the news, a clip from Takei’s October appearance on The Howard Stern Show resurfaced in which Takei addressed sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump and Harvey Weinstein.
In the clip, Stern and Takei discuss Trump’s infamous Access Hollywood tape and Stern asks Takei whether he’s ever grabbed someone else’s genitals without permission.
“Some people are kind of skittish, or maybe, um, uh, afraid, and you’re trying to persuade,” the actor said. When co-host Robin Quivers asked where this persuading might have taken place, Takei said, “It was either in my home. They came to my home.”
