Gina Rodriguez continues to slay with her sexual fluidity.
On Valentine’s Day, Rodriguez tweeted out a picture of her and actress Tessa Thompson staring lovingly into each other’s eyes as their arms are outstretched to each other. Accompanying the tweet is this caption:
“Her: come with me.
Me: where?
Her: does it matter?
Me: nope.”
Her: come with me. Me: where? Her: does it matter? Me: nope. pic.twitter.com/xYIF9rgE4k

For those who are new to this amazing romance, both Rodriguez and Thompson star in the upcoming film Annihilation and have already made it very clear that they want to play girlfriends in a movie together.
Rodriguez has been open about her sexual fluidity for some time. In 2016, Rodriguez responded to a fan’s question of whether she was straight by saying she doesn’t need to define her sexuality. “I love hearts,” she wrote.
I don’t need anyone to define their sexuality to me nor do I feel the need to either. I love hearts. Period. https://t.co/DGR7PQT7oS

Last week, Rodriguez directed her first episode of Jane the Virgin, where she plays the titular role. The episode also explored the budding bisexuality of the character Petra, who is falling in lust with her lawyer played by gay icon Rosario Dawson.
With very few openly queer Latinas in Hollywood, seeing Rodriguez being a model of queerness is the gift that keeps on giving.
