Just one day after stars like Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Laura appealed to gay fans by merely being present at the Golden Globes, actress Gwyneth Paltrow has attempted the one-up of 2018 by announcing her engagement to Gleecreator Brad Falchuk on Instagram.

Here is live footage of Paltrow trying to get her stan army in order:

On Monday, she posted a photo of her and Falchuk together with a ring emoji as a caption.

For the first time, I feel like I’m in an adult relationship that is sometimes very uncomfortable because he sort of demands a certain level of intimacy and communication that I haven’t been held to before,” Paltrow told her magazine Goop, something I hope I never have to read. “What came up in the first couple of years of our relationship was how incapable I was in this realm how I feared intimacy and communication.”

Paltrow also told Goop that she was ready for marriage again, after previously being married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

“Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be,” Paltrow said. “I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”

Paltrow recently got into hot water when the internet found out that one of the medical experts speaking at a Goop conference didn’t believe that HIV caused AIDS.
