2017, we barely knew ye! But, we got to know your films pretty well. 2017 was quite the year for queer films – Call Me By Your Name, BPM, and The Shape of Water, among othersand, sure, there were some non-queer themed ones (Girls Trip), as well.
Sure, when we look back at this year, most people will remember the political trash fires or the inspiring stories of activism. But 2017 was also a luminescent year with diverse film offerings that had us laughing, sobbing, and stanning.
