Is Harry Styles’ ‘Medicine’ About Bisexuality?

· Updated on May 28, 2018

Harry Styles debuted some new tunes over the weekend during his European tour, and one of the songs has fans questioning whether the singer came out as bisexual.

After debuting the song “Anna,” according to Seventeen, Styles played a song called “Medicine,” with lyrics that have fans questioning whether this is a confessional bop.

“The boys and the girls are here / I mess around with them / And I’m okay with it / I’m coming down / I figured out I kinda like it / And when I sleep I’m gonna dream of how you tasted,” Styles sang.

Styles’ sexuality has been a constant subject of speculation. In 2017, the One Direction singer told the Sun he’s “never felt the need” to use a label.

“I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself,” he said.

Styles and bandmate Louis Tomlinson were the subject of endless speculation and fan fiction. The internet saw their physical affection and often hoped the two were in a secret relationship. That speculation led Styles and Tomlinson to drift apart, Tomlinson told the Sun.

“It created this atmosphere between the two of us where everyone was looking into everything we did,” Tomlinson said. “It took away the vibe you get off anyone. It made everything, I think on both fences, a little bit more unapproachable.”

One of Styles’ biggest stans, Olympic skater Adam Rippon, is a big fan of the news.
“And just like that, my skin is clear, my my vision is corrected, and I’m suddenly bisexual,” he wrote on Twitter.
