Teen trans activist and television star Jazz Jennings is joining Netflix and GLAAD’s First Time I Saw Me Campaign, which asks transgender celebrities and notables to speak about the first time they saw themselves represented in the media. In this video, Jennings shares her own #FirstTimeISawMe story, and talks about being that representation for other trans youth around the world.
GLAAD is asking members of the trans community to share their own stories of feeling seen by using #FirstTimeISawMe on Twitter or Instagram.
