Celebrities just cannot leave Britney alone.
On Tuesday, Camping and August: Osage County star (and outspoken Scientologist) Juliette Lewis posted a video to her Instagram that has since become a viral sensation. In the video, Lewis is in her car listening to “Work Bitch” while imploring Spears to help us, the lowly non-Lewisians of the world to make it through this rough-and-tumble world.

“Can’t you save us Britney Spears?! Can we be saved?!” Lewis yells while the Britney Jean banger plays in the background. “God, what, is Satan controlling the universe?!” After Lewis says this line, she begins to whip her hair back and forth Willow Smith-style.
“This Juliette Lewis Instagram video is the only thing I want to talk about for the rest of the year,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Juliette lewis is rly uhhhhhh nailing this current cultural mood,” another person wrote.

Lewis wrote on Instagram that the video was “meant to make people smile while we all try and deal with the horrific fires in California!! Among other calamities!”
But when it comes to viral pleas about Britney Jean Spears, there’s one opinion that matters above all others: so we asked Chris Crocker, internet personal and star of one of the original viral videos, “Leave Britney Alone!”
Crocker reacted to the video in an interview with INTO.
“I think it’s amazing because it’s the opposite of ‘Leave Britney Alone,’ and wanting to help her,” Crocker said. “Now it’s like ‘Britney, save us!’” he said.
He added, “Britney made it through 2007, so she’s a superhero in a way. Like, ‘Help guide us through the dark times,’ cause she’s a badass. I loved it.”
We await Britney’s response to whether we can, indeed, actually be saved.
