Marie Ulven Ringheim has been giving us a soundtrack to all our worst decisions since 2020, when her melodic, lofi pop hits started making the rounds on TikTok. By 2021, girl in red was defining sad girl culture with her debut album “If I Could Make It Go Quiet.” It’s been far too long of a wait for Ringheim’s second masterpiece, but it’s looking like 2024 is going to be the year we get another collection of smooth, sad, sapphic bangers to cry to.
