Roz Drezfalez is a drag queen who enchants the kiddies at Los Angeles Drag Queen Story Hours and cracks up the grown-ups with her stand-up, which locals can catch at her regular Roz’s Humor Hole show at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club, her new comedy game show The Once Over, and on the podcast she hosts with actor/bestie Sam Pancake, The GASP!

Busy Roz found a sec to text me some answers to my 15 questions.

What is the most uncanny thing that you have ever experienced?

I was one time served a bottle of LaCroix. A BOTTLE. It felt very strange and certainly not canny.

What is in your wallet right now?

I never leave the house without an emergency packet of crushed red peppers in my wallet.

Please share the 15th picture on your cell phone.

It’s a photo of a Patrick Nagel lady that I just got tattooed on my arm.

How are you like or not like your sun sign?

I’m a Libra, and all of it is true in my case. Mainly that I’m incredibly indecisive and have a hard time saying no.

What is the last book you read? Song you listened to? Show or movie you watched?

Jenifer Lewis’s Mother of Black Hollywood, “Just What I Needed” by The Cars, Pose on FX.

What was the last meal you cooked?

Vegan Chili.

Where would you like to go on vacation right now?

Spain.

Tell me about getting to meet someone you idolize or admire.

My number one idol is Elvira and I have had the honor of meeting Cassandra Peterson multiple times after shows that I was a part of performing in front of her. I always reintroduce myself and the past few times she has said to me “I know who you are!”

What are you like when you’re sick?

The same but slightly closer to my goal weight.

What are you obsessed with or inspired by right now?

Pose on FX.

What are you upset about right now?

The fact that I’m not more famous on Instagram (@rozdrezfalez), but also I’m still deeply disturbed by our president and refuse to get over his recent treatment of immigrant families and also, the general state of our nation. Don’t forget to vote in the midterms this November!!

What is the most recent dream you remember?

I recently twisted my ankle on stage and was in a lot of pain. That night I dreamt that I was the James Caan character in Misery and Kathy Bates was played by Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Right before she sledgehammered my ankle I woke up in a pool of sweat.

Who are your queer ancestors?

I feel very fortunate to have many fabulous people in my life as close friends and mentors in my queer family like the LA drag cast of “Golden Girlz Live!” which I have been a part of for the past few years. Those people include my drag mother Sherry Vine, Jackie Beat, Drew Droege, and best friend Sam Pancake.

What is your dream project?

Honestly getting to work with friends and make a living full time creating and making people laugh is my overall dream and I feel so blessed to live that every day. So every day I get to do dream projects,  BUT I would love to one day oversee getting my face added to Mount Rushmore as the only non-president in history.

What are you doing this weekend?

I am guest hosting Voss Events’ Drag Brunch Saturday afternoon at Rockwell in Los Feliz, and then premiering a brand new comedy game show at The Hollywood Improv that I’m hosting/co-producing called The Once Over
