MONA’s “Kiss Like A Woman” Music Video Is Queer AF

· Updated on May 28, 2018

Nashville-based band MONA is celebrating queer love in their new video for “Kiss Like A Woman.” Models Langley Fox and Madison Paige swap spit on a motorcycle, while an older guy goes after what he wants–which just so happens to be the bus boy at his local diner.

“It is very important to us–not only as musicians, but just as humans–to let the people in our lives, especially the listeners, know simply that no matter what walk of life you take that you are loved and accepted and have our support,” says MONA member Nick Brown. “The video only gives three different scenarios, obviously there are many more, but with this song and video we wanted to address a playful and joyful approach to these topics. Not taking them lightly, but just to remind us all that there is joy in being yourself. Embrace it!”

There’s also a third storyline set at a high school dance, where MONA are the band for hire. Missed opportunity for some gay kissing there, IMHO, but the rest of the video makes up for it.Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
