She’s “Gone With the Wind’ fabulous and more than a little transphobic.
Real Housewives of Atlanta scenestealer Kenya Moore is under fire today for remarks she made on Sunday night’s Atlanta installment to former housewife Kim Zolciak-Biermann. During an argument the two had at a “Girls and Gays” party, Zolciak-Biermann continued to insist that Moore’s marriage was fake and that no one had met her husband. In response, Moore told Zolciak-Biermann to “Shut the fuck up.”
“Why do you have such a hard on for me?” Moore asked rhetorically. “Didn’t they cut it off during your reassignment surgery?”

People on Twitter called Moore out for her transphobia.
Kenya Moore’s “gender reassignment surgery” jokes about Kim Zolciak aren’t fucking cool or funny, they’re transphobic @KenyaMoore #RHOA

Disgusting comments from @KenyaMoore on #RHOA last night. Moments like that are when the show crosses over from fun drama to cringe viewing. No fun to watch. Hoping she apologizes ASAP bc we all know she knows better. ❤️ @Andy https://t.co/M3z1AGGMUT

In response, Moore said they were “reaching.”

The show is no stranger to charges of transphobia. In 2015, potential transgender housewife Amiyah Scott allegedly quit the show after getting a trial run. She walked off set after producers reportedly tried to hypersexualize her.
