‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Announces All Stars 4 Cast, Including Valentina, Latrice Royale, and More

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 winner Trixie Mattel announced the cast of the drag reality competition series’ fourth All Stars season in a special live-stream Friday morning. (The stream was initially scheduled for Thursday, but was moved in the wake of the shooting in Thousand Oaks, CA.) Joined by All Stars 2 runners-up Katya and Detox, Trixie revealed who would be competing in the latest round of All Stars, set to premiere Friday, Dec. 14.

Among the cast are two queens who just finished up their season 10 run, Monique Heart and Monét X Change, as well as a trio of season 9 queens — Trinity Taylor, Valentina, and Farrah Moan — who will follow in their sister Aja’s footsteps on All Stars

Joining that more contemporary quintet are three queens from earlier seasons: season 6’s Gia Gunn, season 7’s Jasmine Masters, and season 8’s Naomi Smalls. Rounding out the cast of 10 are two former All Stars competitors returning for a third chance at the crown: season 3’s Manila Luzon, and season 4’s Latrice Royale. The two competed as Team Latrila during All Stars 1, and were widely considered to be robbed by the season’s team format.

All Stars 4 will premiere just one week after the previously announced Christmas special, the RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-slay Spectacular. It marks the third season to premiere in 2018, following All Stars 3 and season 10. (Suffice it to say this is the only time three Drag Race seasons have aired in the same year.) It will also be the first season to air out of production order, as All Stars 4 was shot after the upcoming season 11.
