Happy Valentine’s Day to the heart attack I just suffered.
Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are expecting their first child, a rep for the Olympic diver confirmed to BuzzFeed News Wednesday morning. How did we find out? A card? An e-card? A Morse code butterfly kiss on our tender, tender estrogenized cheek skin?
No! The couple decided to share the news that they, or at least an unnamed surrogate, are expecting by Instagramming a sonogram of said beeb in utero. Without warning! Or even like a simple heads up!
“HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! ❤️👨👨👦❤️,” wrote Daley.
His husband, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Milk, opted for a less caps heavy “A very happy #ValentinesDay from ours to yours. 👨👨👦”

This is Tom and Dustin’s first child together, and it probably won’t be their last. As noted by E! Online, Daley told BuzzFeed News in 2013 that he’d like to have “at least three” kids someday, and in 2016 he told The Belfast Telegraph that he and Lance “definitely want a family in the future.”
