Terry Crews Sues Male Agent Who He Claims Groped Him at Holiday Party

· Updated on May 28, 2018

Actor Terry Crews has filed a lawsuit against agent Adam Venit, who he claims grabbed his genitals at a party last year. Crews first spoke about the incident in early October in a series of tweets.

According to TMZ, Crews filed a police report against Venit, in which Crews claims Venit stared at him “like a rabid dog, sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively.” Crews allegedly yelled to actor Adam Sandler for help after the incident.

Crews says that on his way home, he and Sandler had a call in which Crews shared his shock that he was touched inappropriately at age 48. Crews also claims that Venit apologized to him after he called his agent at William Morris Endeavor, the agency where Venit works. WME’s chairman Ari Emanuel apologized for Venit’s behavior, according to TMZ.

Crews’ lawsuit claims he suffered psychologically and that he worries that Venit may use his power in the industry to hurt his career. An investigation in ongoing.
