Queer Eye season 2 is just around the corner, and the trailer is out. The Fab Five are back, and this time, they’re helping a more diverse crowd of people.
“We have a really special treat this week guys,” Bobby Berk says to his crew. “We’re doing a lady!” That’s right, Queer Eye Netflix is getting its first female makeover. From the trailer, it seems like this makeover also leads the five (but probably mostly Bobby) to redesigning a community center for the local church — a place that most likely means a lot to the subject.
That’s not the only new addition this season. Audiences will also meet Skyler, the first trans man to ever appear on the show. “I just want to be able to be visible and be present and let everyone know that I’m okay,” Skyler says to the Fab Five.
The show has a lot of heart and watching the trailer was a good reminder of why I watched the whole first season in like two days. I’m happy to have the Fab Five back in my life. In fact, we can all have them back in our lives and on our streaming devices starting June 15th — right in the middle of Pride.
