The ‘Mamma Mia!’ Sequel Trailer Leaked, And It—CHER!!!!

Late Monday night, the trailer for the Mamma Mia! sequel leaked, and while it didnCHER!!!!

Sorry. Couldn’t keep that in any longer. Cher’s in it. Cher. Is. In It. LikeI knew she was in it. I read the headlines. But it all felt like some hazy, glittery, Bob Mackie-bedazzled fever dream. But it’s real. It’s real! Cher is actually in the fucking Mamma Mia! movie!

Anyway, as I was saying, the trailer for the unintentionally self-awarely titled Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again leaked late Monday night. It got taken down pretty soon after it leaked, but there are still some screenshots up on NewNowNext, plus some clips of Cher’s grand entrance (slash possibly only scene??) floating around Twitter.

“Let’s get the party started,” her character says over absolute silence. Oh, she’s playing Meryl’s character’s mom, by the way. Also, Meryl’s character died? The Extended Mamma Mia! Cinematic Universewhich includes the music videos from the A*Teens’ second album ONLY along with any episode of Celebrity Fit Club where Mia Tyler talks about her parentsis so hard to keep up with.

When Amanda Seyfried’s character tells Cher’s that she’s not invited to whatever weirdly silent party they’re throwing, Cher’s character tells her: “That’s the best kind of party little girl.” Sure!
