We can just end 2018 now because it’s not going to get any better than the “Dance To This” music video. The Troye Sivan track featuring Ariana Grande is already a crying bop, but the music video has taken things to a whole new level.
It starts out with Sivan (who has been somewhat problematic lately, TBH) entering what looks to be a senior center and popping a CD into player and performing for several old folks. Eventually Grande joins him for the second verse and the rest of the video is them just dancing around the space.
It’s very cute and I’ve never wanted to trade lives with a twink more. According to the two pop stars, it was a great time for them as well. Sivan tweeted about how it was the most fun day of his life and Grande quoted him and agreed.

The fun that they’re having is very clear and comes through in the final product — it’s why it’s so good. In fact, I like this better than probably any of Ariana’s actual music videos — please don’t @ me.
