It’s been 15 years since Queer Eye for the Straight Guy came into our lives and even though we *just* got the theme song out of our heads, the show is back with a brand new cast.
On Monday, Netflix released a small kiki between the former and new casts in which they discuss the original series’ impact, the new series’ diverse cadre of voices and how the first show led to one of the new queer guys getting fired.
“While we were shooting it, we had no idea that it would be successful, that it would have any kind of cultural impact,” Jai Rodriguez, original culture guru, says in the clip.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guys debuts on Wednesday, February 7.
