The docu-series CAMPerVAN follows a group of queer artists who take a modified caravan on the road around Europe during Summer 2017.
As the van pops up in new locales, it also pulls out a stage that becomes a queer performance and community space inviting local LGBTQ people to come together and explore their identities through art. Guided by filmmaker Samuel Douek and his troupe (including artist Zoe Marden), the series makes stops in London, Brussels, Rotterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Milan, and Paris.
Come to the premiere onOctober 20th at 2:30pm, which is followed by by a 20-minute panel.
Douek will discuss his observations as well as lessons learned from directing and editing the project in a conversation with Zoe Marden and INTO editor-in-chief Zach Stafford, and moderated by Peter Sloterdyk.
