Come Again?

Trump propositioned Kim Kardashian in the weirdest, gayest way, says bombshell report

A new book alleges that Trump’s 2018 visit with Kim Kardashian in the Oval Office had unintentional—and quite bizarre—consequences for the pair.

Back in 2018, when Kardashian was still married to Kanye West, her highly publicized visit to the White House resulted in a surprising victory. Kardashian asked Trump to grant clemency to Alice Marie Johnson, then a 63-year-old grandmother serving a life sentence for nonviolent charges.

But the relationship between Trump and Kardashian didn’t stop there: after another visit to the White House a few years later, Trump asked for a “quid-pro-quo” arrangement with Kardashian, according to ABC News writer Jonathan Karl in his forthcoming book, Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party.

We know what Kardashian was trying to do by forging a relationship with Trump: ask for more pardons. But the tables had turned only a few years after Alice Johnson’s pardon.

According to Karl, Trump heard Kardashian’s requests for criminal justice, and came back with an ask of his own. “[Trump] would grant the commutations, he told Kardashian, if she leveraged her celebrity connections to get football stars who were friends of hers to come visit him at the White House.”

Football stars. That’s what Trump wanted. To hang out with football stars. Kardashian tried to oblige, but the players he wanted to hang out with knew better. Every player she asked declined the offer to show up at the White House, with quite good reason.

By 2021, the Kardashian-Trump relationship had soured past the point of no return. But learning that all Trump wanted was to hang out with football hunks is oddly on-brand for the disgraced ex-President.
