Elon Musk just reminded everyone of his pronouns and… oh boy

Elon Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) last night to remind everyone of his pronouns.

“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” Musk said in a tweet response to Chaya Raichik, the founder of the anti-queer social media account, LibsofTikTok.

Raichik had posted a link to a video by the controversial PragerU nonprofit. The education organization was set up by Conservative talk show hosts Dennis Prager and Allen Estrin. Besides instructing young people how to behave more in line with traditional gender norms, a recent video sought to criticize Dr Anthony Fauci over his response to Covid and his encouragement of people wearing masks.

Raichik, who has been blamed for prompting death threats, applauded Musk’s tweet with fire and laughter emojis.

Musk must think his joke is hilarious. It’s not the first time he’s trotted it out. Here he is using it back in 2022.

Musk, a father to ten children, has a trans child. However, rather than appear sympathetic to the challenges trans people face in society, he appears to think the existence of trans people is nothing more than proof of the “woke mind virus”.

“Pronouns suck”

In 2020, he proclaimed “pronouns suck”. This prompted ridicule from Pete Buttigieg’s husband, Chasten.

Last September, Musk criticized those who place pronouns in their bio.

In fact, it’s a topic he returns to often.

In 2022, he said, “Forcing your pronouns upon others when they didn’t ask, and implicitly ostracizing those who don’t, is neither good nor kind to anyone.”

Musk’s trans child, Vivian Jenna Wilson, filed to legally change her name when she reached the age of 18 in 2022. She took the name Vivian and her mother’s maiden name. She told the court that she wanted to sever ties with her father.

“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,” she wrote.

Back in 2020, Musk claimed, “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare.”

Yeah, I’m not a fan of pronouns when someone is giving every possible visual cue for he or she, but then still insists on telling you exactly what you expect.

I do support pronouns that aren’t completely obvious based on visual cues.

Since that claim of “support”, Musk appears to have slid further to the right in his position. Last month he voiced his agreement for a tweet saying LGBTQ+ people are “coming for” children.
