The New Trailer Season 3 of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Brings Competition, Chaos, and the Kugelblitz.

Third time’s a charm and The Umbrella Academy is ready to prove that with its season 3. 

The Hargreeves siblings are back, but this time in an alternate timeline. After the course of their actions at the end of season 2, it appears that the super-powered siblings are stuck in an alternate reality where they aren’t the only super-powered family around. 

The Sparrows are the saviors of this reality and along with them are the Hargreeves’ corporeal brother, now in physical form, Ben (Justin H. Min). Unfortunately, the trailer shows that Ben is not the same brother that they know and he and the rest of the Sparrows are not interested in any bonding with the Hargreeves. And while they have to navigate the Sparrows and a new timeline, another threat, called a Kugelblitz, isn’t going to make returning home any easier. 

Premiering on Netflix on June 22, 2022, Season 3 will be a momentous one, as it’ll be the introduction to Viktor Hargreeves, played by Elliot Page. The Umbrella Academy actor came out as transgender to the public in 2020 and rarely do we see actors being able to transition with their characters. But Page was able to do just that in this season and we are incredibly excited to meet Viktor.

Also along for the ride are each of the Hargreeves siblings, Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Five (Aidan Gallagher), Diego’s confidante, Lila (Ritu Arya), and the supposedly dead Hargreeves patriarch, Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore), and his assistant Pogo (Adam Godley).

And the internet is overjoyed for the return of The Umbrella Academy.
