Go Behind the Red Curtain in ‘Boylesque’

Brooklyn’s massively popular boylesque scene has garnered plenty of attention in recent years, and now LA’s budding scene is getting a close-up of its own.

Boylesque, a new four-part web series by director and boylesque host Jasten King, profiles LA-based performers who each bring their own style to the cabaret stage.

First up is Tito Bonito, an award-winning dancer and emcee whose bawdy act blurs gender lines with plenty of camp and comedy (butt pasties are a thing!). Check out the video to see him in action, and stay tuned for next week’s installment featuring Bobbie Burlesque.
