The CAMPerVAN is a modified caravan that was designed to host queer performances and community event anywhere in the world.
In this 6 part series, we follow the CAMPerVAN Team, creator Samuel, artist Zoe and curator Fiontan as they travel 4000 miles across Europe to perform 8 shows in 6 different cities.
Part I – Brussels Rotterdam
In the first episode we follow the team as they depart from London and head towards Brussels for their first show and on to Rotterdam where they host a day of workshops and discussions. Here, filmmaker and CAMPerVAN creator Samuel Douek talks about what inspired him to modify a 26 year old caravan into a traveling queer space and what he has learnt from the experience.
