‘Zero Feet Away’ from Matt Bellassai

Less than two years ago, BuzzFeed comic and video personality Matt Bellassai made a big choice: He went solo. Instead of continuing to work with the company that gave him his first voice but where he would always remain an employee, not the star Bellassai took after his beloved Beyoncé as she left Destiny’s Child.

Now, with a 25-city tour and a new book, Everything Is Awful, available for purchase, Bellassai is sitting pretty. But of course, despite his success, he has plenty of self-deprecating jabs at his own expense to share. The host of the Facebook series To Be Honest likely wouldn’t have it any other way.

In a chat on Zero Feet Away series, Bellassai talked about the new book, his current tour, and why, despite drinking it for years online, he’s not actually that fond of wine. Watch the full interview above.
