Antoni Porowski Gets a Cookbook Deal, Get Your Avocados Ready

Queer Eye wunderkind Antoni Porowski is ready to share his sagacious kitchen wisdom with people everywhere.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the Fab Five’s resident food expert has signed a deal with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to write his first cookbook, consisting of 100 recipes.

According to the publisher, the book will “continue to promote the simple, healthy, visually appealing fare that marked his culinary approach on the Netflix reboot.”

“I could not be more thrilled to be writing about the recipes I love and think are essential to any novice home cook, professional, and somewhere in between,” Porowski said in a statement to Weekly. “I’m also truly honored to be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: the talented and passionate Rux Martin, for whom I have such tremendous respect. We immediately bonded on the importance of hors-d’oeuvres and our mutual love for Vermont, and I can’t wait to publish this book and share my personal recipes with the world.”

Rux Martin of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt pointed to Porowski’s “appealing vulnerability” and “stylish” recipes that blend “European classical approach and American accessibility.”

OK

Despite the rest of the Fab Five having more credentials and questions as to whether he can actually cook, Antoni Porowski has become the show’s breakout star, even gracing the cover of Gay Times this month.

Your avocados have plenty of time to ripen before his cookbook lands on store shelves. The book will be out spring 2019.
