Ariana Grande may be a pop superstar and Oscar-nominated actress, but she still finds time to tune into RuPaul’s Drag Race like the rest of us.
On a recent red carpet, Grande told IndieWire that she’s watching the currently airing Season 17, then shared her three favorite queens from the season.
“I am watching this season of Drag Race, but I’m not up to speed,” Grande said. When asked if she was rooting for anyone on the season, she replied, “I’m still getting to know everyone, but I really love Onya Nurve. And I really love … Lexi Love is so sweet. I love her so much. Her energy is amazing.”
Grande gave props to one final queen: “Suzie Toot. I like her a lot,” she said. “I think everyone is beautiful. It’s very fun, but I’m not up to date. That’s off the top of my head how I feel.”

Related“How did we go from brat summer to fascist winter?” Lauter said before their performance. “That’s literally the plot of ‘Cabaret.’”“You just cannot judge a book by its cover.”
All three of the queens Grande shouted out reacted to the love on social media. Lexi Love shared the video, writing, “This is not a drill!!!! I am shocked, honored and humbled to even exist in one of her incredibly iconic brain cells!! I am Gagged to the core! Thank you universe.”
Onya Nurve and Suzie Toot didn’t offer as many words on the subject, but their sentiments were the same. “✨ SCREAMING, CRYING, THROWING UP ✨,” Onya wrote.
“gaggy gaggy gaggy gaggy im gagged,” Suzie added in a reply to Onya’s post. We couldn’t put it better ourselves.
