Jack Schlossberg keeps bullying JD Vance and it’s wonderful to see

Jack Schlossberg, former President John F. Kennedy’s grandson, speaks during the second day of the Democratic National Convention at the United Center.

Apparently we can’t do anything about the awful people in charge of our government right now. But we can troll them, and perhaps no one excels more at this pastime than Jack Schlossberg, our favorite Kennedy.

After taunting JD Vance last year with all kinds of “why don’t you love me” pleas on TikTok, Schlossberg has taken his campaign over to Instagram, where he’s rightfully dragging Vance through the mud for being weird, stupid, ugly, and generally the worst.

Schlossberg has been a favorite of the gays for some time now, due to his general gorgeousness and amazing sense of humor. He knows what the best cultural critics know: that sometimes, if you really want to get under someone’s skin, you have to go low. You have to get in touch with your inner 5-year-old. You have to start calling them a no-good poopy-pants bastard who can’t finish.

Schlossberg also knows that hidden within the best insults are deep, inescapable truths. Like how Utah Senator Mike Lee resembles a sandwich.

Will any of this save the Republic? No. Is it making us feel just a scooch better in these troubled times? Yes.
