Kit Connor’s antics with his Romeo + Juliet castmates are keeping his fans fed. There’s his friendship with Rachel Zegler, aka Juliet, who confirmed his bisexual Romeo was canon. There are his post-show kisses with Taheen Modak, aka Mercutio. Now, Daniel Bravo Hernández, who plays Abraham, gave fans a glimpse at what the cast gets up to off the stage: namely, a soccer match.
On his Instagram story, Hernández posted a video of some Romeo + Juliet castmates playing indoor soccer. Though the video was blurry, fans still spotted Connor right away, mostly because he chose to go shirtless for the match.

Connor seems to have a habit of popping up shirtless in grainy videos, but nobody’s complaining.
Some folks pointed out the parallels between Connor’s performance on the field and his Heartstopper character Nick Nelson. Both are athletes, with Nelson preferring ruby over soccer (or football, as he’d call it), and both seem to celebrate victories by throwing their arms in the air: for Nelson, that’s officially becoming boyfriends with Charlie, played by Joe Locke, and for Connor, that’s his team scoring a goal.
