The Marvel Cinematic Universe just got a little bit queerer.
That’s thanks to Ruaridh Mollica, a 25-year-old actor who was just cast in the upcoming Disney+ Vision, the next entry in the WandaVision series after Agatha All Along. Though little is known about the series so far, it’s expected to follow Paul Bettany as Vision after the events of WandaVision. Mollica is playing a character named Tucker, and though no details about the character have been released, fans already have a good idea of who he might be.
In the final episodes of Agatha All Along — spoiler alert! — Billy Maximoff (played by Joe Locke) and Agatha Harkness (played by Kathryn Hahn) resurrected then set off to find Billy’s long lost brother Tommy. It’s long been speculated that the Vision series would involve Tommy in some capacity, so Mollica’s casting as a character with a T-name has fans connecting the dots.

If Mollica is in fact playing Tommy, that would make him Locke’s on-screen brother, and fans of both actors can’t wait to see the two cross paths.
Notably, Tommy (who eventually adopts the superhero title Speed) is bisexual in the comics, meaning the MCU could be gaining both a queer character and a queer actor to match him.
Related“We’ve moved on from that sort of thing,” Locke said of the previously unconfirmed movie in an interview last month.“My thinking was, ‘Who could I fall in love with?’” Turturro said of why he pushed for Walken to be the Burt to his Irving.
Before being cast in Vision, Mollica starred in the 2024 indie film Sebastian, a drama about a queer sex worker that Mollica has said helped him on his own self-discovery journey.
“My queerness definitely feels like a journey that I’m still going on,” Mollica said in a 2024 interview with Queerty. “And so, for a long time, I knew that I wasn’t straight, but I still felt like I was, and then it was only when I moved to London and had the ability to be myself that I realized, ‘Oh actually, no, I like men as well.’”
“There was a short film I did called Too Rough, and that made me look at my sexuality head on,” Mollica continued. “And the same with Sebastian as well — it made me reflect, and that’s what I think this film is meant to do. From this film, I’m living my true self.”
