From the moment Megan The Stallion was announced as a Coachella performer, the gay internet knew she’d deliver an all-time great set. Still, no one could have predicted quite how queer Megan would make her performance — and she didn’t do it alone.
Megan’s set featured several surprise guests, including Queen Latifah and Ciara, but the standout was no doubt Victoria Monét, who joined Megan for a performance of their collab “Spin” and Monét’s hit song “On My Mama.” For Monét, that included straddling Megan’s knee. For Megan, it included getting low and squeezing Monét’s thighs.

The lovefest continued even as Monét left the stage, with Megan saying, “Call me!” and biting her finger.
RelatedCarpenter’s concerts sparked discourse once again — and this time, things got gay, despite what some online critics may think.“They’re more woman than you will ever be. They had to fight for their life in order to call themselves one,” TikToker Alexis Rose explained.
Naturally, the internet is obsessed. Both Megan and Monét are openly bisexual, and seeing them express their queerness on stage was a highlight of the festival so far.
Elsewhere in her set, Megan gave a shoutout to another sapphic superstar: Reneé Rapp, who she collabed with on the song “Not My Fault” for 2024’s musical Mean Girls remake. While looking into the crowd, she spotted Rapp watching her set and called out her name from the stage — after letting out a scream, of course. As one user put it, “lesbians don’t play about megan thee stallion & megan thee stallion doesn’t play about lesbians.”
Rapp, who was watching from the crowd with power couple Cara Delevigne and Minke, replied with joy, screaming and pointing back at Megan while jumping up and down.
Rapp and Megan also connected after the show, snapping some pictures backstage along with Delevingne and Jodie Smith.
For a festival featuring the likes of Lady Gaga and Charli xcx, delivering the gayest set of the weekend is no small feat — but clearly, Megan was up to the challenge.
