It doesn’t take much for Pedro Pascal to bring us to our knees. The Last of Us heartthrob is a perennial favorite amongst the extremely gay and extremely online, and it’s no wonder why. This year at the Emmys, he stunned on the red carpet with his trans sister Lux by his side. Before that, he had us absolutely gagged thanks to a cheeky photo of the actor getting a kiss from his agent—don’t worry, it was strictly platonic.

Now, the man is gagging us even further with the announcement that he’ll portray Fantastic Four staple Mr. Fantastic in a new adaptation, alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Vanessa Kirby, and Joseph Quinn.

It was the heartwarming Valentine’s Day announcement the gays needed—featuring an adorably retro illustration of the Fantastic Four enjoying what looks to be a very gay moment at home. Needless to say, fans were losing their entire minds over this news.

Obviously there were some complaints…

And many felt loyal to the Jessica Alba-Chris Evans version…

But overall, folks were happy with the decision.

Cousin (from The Bear) and Pedro? A match made in Marvel heaven.

Gays, we won this round.
