Reneé Rapp’s “secret Instagram” is back with a message about Trump (and her next album)

Reneé Rapp has always been known for her hot takes, and she’s staying true to that reputation with her long-awaited return to a burner account on Instagram.

Rapp’s not-so-secret Instagram, @goodtitsbigheart (a reference to the iconic lyrics of her song “Tummy Hurts”), has 272,000 followers. But until yesterday, it hadn’t gotten an update since August of last year.

Now, though, our prophet is back with a new bio (“I’m back f*ck all yall”) and two posts seemingly spurred by Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The first was a video where Rapp shared a story about being at the nail salon, where Rapp says two women started taking about supporting Trump and calling each other beautiful.

“First of all, both of y’all are ugly, so what are you talking about?” Rapp asked. “And second of all, both of y’all are stupid.”

“I tried to refrain from doing some crazy shit — and I did! And I did, which is rare for me, and you know this,” she continued. “But I shouldn’t’ve. I shouldn’t’ve! I should have hit you.”

Rapp doubled down on her anti-Trump sentiment in a second post, this time a vintage New Year’s graphic reading “2013 will be my year.” In the caption, Rapp gave her fans three nuggets of wisdom:

“A. This country is fucking crazy and it has been so no shock there

B. Get your aunts in the valley from my nail salon

C. Trump is so obsessed with trans people like please lmfao he’s so upsetttttt that they’re fine and move culture like girl you’re a fan”

She added a fourth piece of advice in a comment, writing, “Oh and protect your friends please.”

Reneé Rapp having objectively correct opinions? Nobody is surprised. Rapp also teased that her sophomore album is around the corner by liking a comment reading, “Is this lowkey a RR2 announcement??” It’s a small acknowledgement, but given that more than a year has passed since Rapp’s debut album Snow Angel, fans are thirsty for any news of new music.
