Ever since we found out Sasha Allen and Adore Delano were officially a couple, we’ve been swooning over their adorable love story. Now, in a new video posted to TikTok, Allen revealed that his romance with the RuPaul’s Drag Race star changed his worldview on relationships.
“I’m in a T4T relationship for the first time in my entire adult life, and I think it’s the best f*cking thing ever. I think it’s the best thing in the entire world,” the Voice star and influencer began. For the uninitiated, T4T stands for “trans for trans,” aka a relationship between two (or more) trans people.
“There’s so many good little things, like we apparently have the same political views and she knows how to give me my testosterone shot,” Allen continued. “But also, I feel like trans people spend their entire lives trying to explain things to people and put things in terms that cis people can understand. And it’s so crazy being with someone that like, you can explain something in the stupidest way that would make no sense to a cis person, and they just f*cking get it.”

“I’m 23, and for the first time in my life I feel like I’m actually fully comfortable with another human being. I feel actually fully seen and understood as a human by another human being,” he added. “There’s nothing weird. There’s no weird transgender roadblock or like, ‘I don’t want my family to know that you’re transgender’ — like, who has time for that?”
“I know I’m biased, but I think T4T is the best,” Allen concluded. “And I think that the country should be run by a T4T couple in the White House. Who knows? Maybe I’ll have a career pivot. Maybe I’ll run for f*cking president. Maybe we need a f*cking T4T couple in the White House!”

Besides cheering on Allen’s potential presidential bid, folks in his comments section agreed that T4T relationships are something truly special. “I’m married in a T4T relationship and it’s truly so amazing!!” one commenter wrote. “I know I’ll always been heard and seen by him☺️💕”
“I’m non binary and my partner is gender fluid and we get each other in a way that most people don’t,” agreed another.
Even cis people could get behind Allen’s message: “I’m not trans but every t4t relationship I have seen has been the most sweetest and loving relationship I have ever seen,” one commenter wrote.
