Aimee Lou Wood is currently living the dream — well, one of the dreams. The Sex Education star is currently starring on The White Lotus as a British tourist in Thailand, and only two episodes into the season, she’s cemented herself as a fan favorite character.
But even after booking The White Lotus, Wood says there’s one more gig on her bucket list: guest judging on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
“There’s only a few things in my life that I wanted to do: White Lotus, and be a judge on Drag Race, and Cabaret,” Wood told PinkNews. “I got Cabaret, and that meant I missed my — I got offered to do UK Drag Race, and I missed it because I was rehearsing for Cabaret. So I need to get my opportunity again. I have to get it again.”

Given that Wood played leading lady Sally Bowles in Cabaret on the West End in early 2023, that missed invite was likely for the then-filming fifth season of Drag Race UK.

Season 7 of Drag Race UK is coming later this year, so with any luck, we’ll see Wood get a second chance to live out her dreams on the panel. She’d be the perfect judge for any number of episodes: A Sex Education-themed acting challenge? A White Lotus-inspired improv gauntlet? A Cabaret-based rusical? Hell, throw her into the Snatch Game and let hilarity ensue. Wood and Drag Race are a long overdue match made in heaven.
