We’ve all been following Donald Trump Jr.’s Greenland escapades breathlessly, but it seems the silliest development is happening not on the ground but on the page.

After the New Republic posted a piece whose headline perfectly summed up Trump’s son’s true place in politics, folks on Bluesky are marveling at the complete and total accuracy of the wording.

The @nytimes.com should hire whoever wrote this headline. Seriously!

It really says it all. People are calling the headline “stunningly accurate” as well as “perfect…factual and cuts right to the point.”

But there are some revisions needed. “ONE of his idiot sons,” one commenter deftly pointed out. “He heard “snow” and got confused,” another poster explained.

A very likely scenario. It does feel fitting that while half the coast is being consumed in flames, we still have to pay attention to what these ridiculous people are up to.

“If every news outlet had been printing truth like this for the last four years,” one user wrote, “I seriously doubt we would be swearing in a felon in two weeks.”

It’s true—why are people trying to dignify this family by referring to them as human beings on the level of everyone else? It’s confusing!

“I adore this headline which tells you absolutely everything you need to know about the story and situation,” one poster said. Precisely: it gives you the complete situation at a glance. We need more straightforward, honest reporting like this as we head into even darker times.
