Does Savage x Fenty Volume 3 Showcase Rihanna’s Queerest Lineup Yet?

Every time New York Fashion week rolls around, we are blessed with beauty, opulence, and queerness aplenty, usually in the form of a Savage x Fenty show. The Rihanna-owned brand has been dazzling eyeballs since 2018, in the past few years, Bad Gal RiRi has leaned into the brand’s queer-friendly aesthetic, drawing from the finest LGBTQ+ talent to give her colorful, playful, sexy lingerie sets new life on the runway. 

Savage x Fenty Volume 3 is absolutely no different. This year’s drop, slated for September 24th, is already looking marvelously extra. Rihanna posted a teaser vid to Instagram two weeks ago, followed up by another teaser for the show, featuring the likes of “Drag Race” stars Gottmik and Symone. As for musical talent? Watch out: we’re looking at performances from “Angel Baby” singer and power twink Troye Sivan as well as queer icon Ricky Martin.

The show, as usual, promises a star-studded night of naughtiness, featuring a range of models from Emily Ratajkowski and Alek Wek to Erykah Badu and Precious Lee. As for the fashion? Well, it’s definitely Savage x Fenty, even if the new drop lacks some of the Pride-season cuteness of the summer line.
