When this unlucky date comes around, those at Camp Crystal Lake can expect a fatal visit from Jason Voorhees. He’s proof that mommy issues and a physical deformity in a shallow society can cause some serious damage.

But if there’s one thing that these movies are known for (other than the body count), it’s the hormone-driven young adults and the mildly homoerotic situations. When horny co-eds descend upon the camp, we get a serving of eye candy with our popcorn.

Russell Todd – Scott in Friday the 13th Part 2

While he was alive, he was known for his annoying pranks and those dreamy eyes. But he spent his summer chasing after a girl, and you know what it got him? Hung upside down from a tree with his throat slit by a disgruntled former camper.

Tom McBride – Mark in Friday the 13th Part 2

This wheelchair-bound jock met an unfortunate end with a machete to his boyishly handsome face. The actor behind the role was a gay man who died of an AIDS-related brain disease in 1995. The next year, he was the subject of the documentary, Life and Death on the A List.

Peter Barton – Doug in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

Luckily for him (and for us), this stud got to indulge in some shower sex before he met his goalie-masked maker. But just after he got nice and clean, he got covered in blood with his head bashed into a tiled-wall.

John Robert Dixon – Eddie in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning

Eddie was a resident of Pinehurst Youth Development Center that just wanted to sneak away and enjoy some weed and some Tina (the girl, not the drug). But after finding his girlfriend dead, he becomes the victim of a killer’s apparent bondage kink, death by leather belt.

John Shepherd – Tommy Jarvis in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning

The only character in the franchise to truly defeat Jason, Tommy was portrayed in three different movies by three different actors. But it was this version that, although ultimately disturbed, was arguably the hottest.

Mike Nomad – Officer Thornton in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Cops in this horror franchise are rarely even primary characters, and this character is no exception to the rule. But he does check off the eye candy box, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that he knows how to fill out a uniform.

Todd Caldecott – Jim Miller in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Those piercing blue eyes, that majestic long hair, and he owns a boat! He was a total catch until he became Jason’s catch of the day. After accidentally resuscitating the temporarily deceased killer from the bottom of Crystal Lake, Todd and his girlfriend become Jason’s first victims of the film, at the wrong end of a harpoon.

Scott Reeves – Sean Robertson in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Scott probably didn’t expect that he’d have to try and survive a masked murderer when he embarked on his class boat trip to New York, but life is full of surprises. Although it’s his girlfriend that saves the day, Sean sticks around to look pretty for the audience.

Derwin Jordan – Waylander in Jason X

It’s the year 2455, and Waylander is one of the unlucky students from Earth II that brings a cryogenically frozen Jason Voorhees aboard their space shuttle from the now uninhabitable Earth. Although we’re not quite sure we’re on board with the 25th century solo sweater vest trend, he has the arms to make it werk.

Peter Mensah – Sergeant Brodski in Jason X

The sergeant of the space crew’s security team, he can protect us any day. After Über Jason kills most of the students on board, Brodski personally drags him out into space to save the day. Think of that sexy brow the next time you see a shooting star.

Jesse Hutch – Trey in Freddy vs. Jason

He definitely didn’t have the best bedside manor but we can overlook one thing. Unfortunately, Jason can’t. After kicking his girlfriend out of bed because she smelled like menthols, Jason took advantage of a vulnerable Trey and an adjustable bed.

Jared Padalecki – Clay Miller in Friday the 13th (2009)

Although it wasn’t the best remake of the horror genre, we at least got to see Dean from Gilmore Girls play hero. While dealing with a group of stereotypical late 2000s college bros, he broods around Crystal Lake on his motorcycle while searching for his missing sister.
