Transmasc adult star Apollo Moon has died at 26

Transmasc adult content creator Apollo Moon has died, his family confirmed. He was 26 years old. Tributes are pouring out as friends and loved ones remember Moon as a “trailblazer” and “beautiful force” in the world.

Apollo Moon, known to family and friends as Forest Harader, passed away on Monday, December 2 in Los Angeles. Although no official cause of death has been shared, he was reportedly admitted to an ICU on life support on November 27. Moon’s loved ones confirmed the news of his death to Them and shared with the outlet that “he loved nature, camping, and hiking.”

Moon’s family has launched a campaign on the crowdfunding platform Meal Train to support themselves while they grieve. At the time of writing, the campaign has raised over $18,000 of its $15,000 goal.

“On November 27th the Harader family received the unexpected and devastating news that their son/brother Forest was hospitalized in the ICU on life support,” the family wrote on the platform. “His parents will be taking an extended leave from work and they, along with his sister Risa, can use any and all the support you can give during this difficult time.”

Friends and industry peers shared heartfelt tributes in response to the news.

Adult content creator Gwen Adora wrote, “Devastated to hear the news of Apollo Moon passing this morning. Apollo Moon, you will be remembered as a trailblazer, a kind and beautiful force in this hard world and industry. Forever in peace, may you dance among the stars.”

“Sitting here listening to all the silly audio messages we used to leave each other, still in disbelief,” wrote performer Cher Mii. “I love this man dearly. There is so much I could say but words would do little justice in properly conveying the depth of this loss.”

Outside of producing adult content, Moon’s social media was a regular beacon of trans joy. In one of his last tweets on November 24, Moon expressed gratitude for being trans and gave his love to the community. “Being trans brought me so much joy and there was nothing in this world that made me happier than sharing that experience with my community,” he said.

“I hope all trans people are extra gentle with themselves tonight,” he added.

“I wish I could hug every trans person in the world right now and tell them I love them.”
