Transvestigators are targeting Sarah Michelle Gellar for the dumbest reason

Transvestigators are failing biology again. The latest target for the terminally online and obsessed portion of the transphobic community is the vampire slayer herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Their reason: a tiny shadow on her throat in a recent picture.

Last month, Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. The happy couple shared a current photo of themselves looking just as in love as the day they met.

The photo went viral again over the weekend when a X/Twitter user reshared it, captioning, “Unproblematic people age so gracefully.” And the internet came armed and ready with opinions.

Most commentators agreed that the couple have hardly aged a day in 22 years. Some poked fun at the characterization of “unproblematic.”

“They literally committed vehicular manslaughter and drove away after????” one user wrote, referencing Gellar and Prinze’s roles in the 1997 slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer and earning a community note for the joke.

Others referenced the penchant for coke and sleeping with her stepbrother Gellar’s character has in the film Cruel Intentions. More than a few learned for the first time that Daphne and Fred from 2002’s Scooby-Doo: The Movie are a couple in real life. And then the transvestigators rolled in…

According to some now deleted posts, per PinkNews, users zoomed in on Gellar’s throat to claim that her voice box—which all cis women have, some being more pronounced than others—is evidence that she is secretly trans. “The Adam’s apple. No one speaks about it,” one user posted alongside a close-up image of Gellar’s neck.

Another user posted a clip from Gellar’s guest stint on Sex and the City. “Are we seriously going to ignore the Adam’s apple?” the anatomy scholar inquired.

Other users didn’t wait for the Slayer to step in and take down these trolls. “Every human on Earth has that bit of cartilage, if you had ever felt the touch of a woman you would know this,” said one.

“No one talks about it because it literally isn’t there, go back to school,” said another.

But it’s no wonder the transvestigators are beneath Gellar’s notice. As evidenced by the photo, she’s got her hands full living her best life.
