It’s the it-boy crossover of our dreams: Kit Connor, Manu Ríos, and Will Poulter are all starring in the same movie.

The movie in question is Rapture, a medieval zombie horror film that will put the Heartstopper, Elite, and The Bear stars in an unlikely setting: a British monastery in 1348. According to Deadline, Rapture follows 10 monks whose “fragile peace is disrupted by the arrival of a messenger — a man with haunting news from the outside world who rapidly shows symptoms of a mystery illness.” That’s right: it’s the zombie apocalypse, but set 700 years in the past.

Connor and Poulter just starred together in Warfare, prompting a press tour where the two showed off their close friendship, from bonding over being child actors to re-enacting an infamous rom-com moment. Ríos, meanwhile, will make his English feature film debut with Rapture, having recently appeared in Pedro Almodóvar’s short drama Strange Way of Life.

Given all three actors have extremely active fandoms, the news of their casting in one project has set the internet ablaze. “They made this one for the gays,” quipped one commenter on social media, and honestly, we can’t disagree. Will Rapture itself feature any queer storylines or on-screen action between its three heartthrob stars? Unlikely, given its setting and premise — but let’s manifest anyway.

Rapture is the feature debut for writer and director Jordan Tannahill, who’s best known as a playwright. It’s being distributed by HanWay Films, with HanWay’s CEO Gabrielle Stewart raving about Tannahill’s concept and all three of Rapture’s leading men.

“We have all been blown away by the vision Jordan has for Rapture,” Stewart said in a statement. “It is rare to have such an atmospheric and terrifying zombie horror film that inhabits such an authentic historical world, with complex characters grappling with the biggest moral dilemmas. It is no wonder he has already attracted such great casting in Will, Kit and Manu with more to come, backed by top tier producers.”
