Kristen Stewart with a mullet and a jockstrap on is the gayest thing on the internet

Sapphics rejoice. Kristen Stewart is baring it all on Valentine’s Day.

The Oscar nominated actress is Rolling Stone‘s cover star and she’s letting it all hang out for V-Day and the internet is losing it. Sporting a mullet and a jockstrap, Stewart is doing exactly what she said wanted to do, which is make the “gayest f***ing thing you’ve ever seen in your life.”

We think she succeeded.

The 33-year-old superstar is leaning all the way into her gayness. Stewart even went as far as comparing herself and her unapologetic queerness to other famous queer folks who’ve done the same, like the members of boygenius and Jodie Foster.

“And it goes: Jodie [Foster], me, boygenius,” Stewart said. “I’m in the middle. Do you know what I mean? Jodie had such a hard time [as a gay actor], and I’m not speaking for her — I am objectively analyzing the time and place in which she was being her, and that is not easy — I would say f***ing near-impossible if you wanted to continue doing what you love.”

“For me, it wasn’t a problem. But that’s probably because of the sort of space that I inhabit and the parts that I’m attracted to and the filmmakers that are attracted to me and the audience that exists for those movies,” Stewart added. “Had I really wanted to carve out more commercial space and maintain that, I don’t know if that would’ve worked.”

Speaking of commercial space, since Stewart’s big break within the Twilight franchise, her star continued to rise with a variety of projects, including Snow White and the Huntsman, Certain Women, Happiest Season, and Underwater. In 2022, she scored the coveted Oscar nomination for the role of Diana, Princess of Wales in Spencer. However, don’t expect her to act much more, if she doesn’t get her film, The Chronology of Water, funded.
