Alex Garland’s Civil War film may have people talking, but the potential cast of his other film has the internet in love.
Current buzz is circulating around Garland’s upcoming dystopia flick, Civil War. The A24 production, starring Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Wagner Moura, Nick Offerman, and Cailee Spaeny, follows a team of journalists traveling across the United States during the Second Civil War. While A24 films get plenty of commentary, the internet is now obsessed with Garland’s upcoming untitled film.
According to film writer and insider Jeff Sneider, Garland has his eyes set on several heartthrobs to join his next war movie. The actors in question are Heartstopper‘s Kit Connor, Shogun‘s Cosmo Jarvis, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘s Will Pouter, and Reservation Dogs‘ D’Pharoah Woon-a-Tai.

All eyes are glued to this casting for one specific reason: they’re all eye candy.
The internet is in love with all of these leading lads and this foursome is getting even hotter, with two more additions. Joseph Quinn and Charles Melton are already slated to join Garland’s film, per Deadline. Melton, a Riverdale alum, dazzled during this year’s award season in Todd Haynes’ May December, alongside Oscar winners Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, while Stranger Things’ Quinn will heat up the Marvel Cinematic Universe as The Fantastic Four‘s Human Torch.
The film isn’t even out, but the new crew of heartthrobs is taking over the internet.
While Civil War comes out on April 12, Garland’s next film has already won the battle for the internet’s heart.
