Fresh news of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2—a sequel no one thought they needed—has officially hit the airwaves, and that means one thing. The Paul Mescal/Pedro Pascal alliance is officially upon us.

After the trailer for Gladiator 2 premiered at CinemaCon today, everyone’s eager to know one thing and one thing only: what’s the chemistry like between Mescal and Pascal? I mean, we can probably guess, judging by just how fine both men are. But still.

When a tweet from the Twitter account Film Updates teased the chemistry between Mescal and Pascal—rounding out a star-studded cast including Denzel Washington and Derek Jacobi—the gays had something to say.

Obviously “head-to-head” refers to the action these two will see in the gladiator ring—but can you blame us for dreaming?
