There seems to be no limit to Ayo Edebiri’s talent.
This is the year of Ayo Edebiri and the 2024 awards season proves it. The 28-year-old actress racked up several coveted acting awards recently and fans are loving.
Edebiri snagged a Golden Globe, an Emmy Award, and a Critics’ Choice Award in less than a two-week timespan for her role on the FX/Hulu comedy The Bear. Nothing short of iconic.

While these awards highlight her acting talent, Edebiri’s skills in stand-up comedy, improv, and writing built her creative foundation. Besides her ability to produce a convincing Irish accent, there’s one more talent that The Bear actress has up her sleeve, singing.
A video of Edebiri singing resurfaced on social media and fans can’t get enough of her singing voice. Edebiri’s light and raspy vocals take the lead over her cover of Grammy nominee Lianne La Havas’ song “Gone.”
While known for playing Sydney Adamu on The Bear, Edebiri gagged audiences with her performances in Theater Camp, Bottoms, and her guest-starring role on Abbott Elementary (alongside fellow Emmy winner Quinta Brunson). Now, fans predict Edebiri will become an EGOT (a winner of an Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, and Tony Award).
Elton John was the recent queer addition into the EGOT crew. Maybe Edebiri is next on the list to join.
